The Town of Port Hedland identified the need for premium sporting infrastructure to meet the Pilbara’s continued growth and heightened passion for sport. Danthonia supplied and installed these scoreboards at the Kevin Scott and Colin Matheson Ovals in South Hedland.

Council required engineering certification of the structures for punishing coastal Region D wind loads. They required vandal-resistant scoreboards made to withstand cyclonic conditions, and flexible, intuitive, reliable software.

Danthonia’s winning scoreboard solution incorporates rustproof aluminium structures, all-weather, enclosed service platforms (eliminating the need for access equipment), and lockable, automatic, cyclone-rated roller shutters for security and protection. A loud siren that can be heard all across the oval is concealed in each scoreboard’s housing for AFL matches.

Scoreboards are extra-large for maximum readability. Software training and ongoing support are included in the supply and install arrangement. The software includes extensive options for advertisements and player profiles.
