Rockhampton Regional Council Mt Archer Park Signs

Danthonia Designs supplied this suite of signage for the range of community facilities at Mt Archer, and the signs fit right in to the park’s beautiful natural surroundings.

Local rocks were gathered to fill the gabion cages that support the interpretive and directional signage panels. The rocks, paired with the Corten steel-look panels, give the signs the appearance of harmonising with the colours and textures of the surrounding bush. One of the signs celebrates the region’s rich indigenous heritage, displaying the history of the local Darumbal people. Other signs identify local flora and fauna species or provide statutory information. These durable signs will enhance the Mt Archer experience of thousands of visitors for years to come.
