Mount Lilydale Mercy College, a school of Mercy Education, was looking to place a captivating entry statement at the base of their steep driveway. The College, located in lovely Lilydale in eastern Melbourne, has a picturesque campus and buildings. The chapel has especially striking architecture, and includes a gigantic copper cross motif. Our designer tied this in to the sign design, and we used sheets of real copper plating to give an authentic and original feel to the sign. The copper sheets are clear coated to prevent them going green in the elements.
The sign includes an integrated, lockable poster cabinet for displaying full-colour printed ads which the school produces with an on-site printer.
