Busby Public School Indigenous Heritage Totems

$0.00
Busby Public School recently created this Indigenous garden on the playground to celebrate local heritage. This was made possible by funding they received for the promotion of Indigenous heritage and pride. The garden forms the shape of a boomerang, dotted with indigenous plant species. School staf approached Danthonia to create a feature sculpture celebrating some of the Indigenous tribes of New South Wales.

This boomerang sculpture is about two metres tall and fully 3D, with a woodgrain background and firmly concreted into the garden.

The school also installed three values totems with 3D animal sculptures; a green tree frog, a lace monitor lizard and a Sulphur-crested cockatoo.
